Commission a Painting
Let the Classic Car Art Studio produce a unique painting of your cherished, or favourite car, whether it's a 1920's Bentley, a more modern classic, or even a race car.
The painting can be produced in a choice of mediums, including oil, acrylic, or watercolour. You can also choose from a variety of styles. Our paintings often feature vehicles on the move, but you may prefer something a little more traditional that places your car in a classically sedate pose.
The painting may be for yourself, a gift for someone, or perhaps if you are involved in motorsport, your sponsors. We can also produce large scale paintings for offices and showrooms.
Typically we will be working from a selection of good quality, suitable photographs supplied by the client, but if this is not possible we may be able to arrange for photographs to be taken. There will of course be an extra charge for this service. You will then be sent a detailed sketch of how the painting will look for approval, prior to beginning the commission.
If you choose oil, or acrylic as a medium, the painting can be created on either canvas or board. This will be supplied unframed, but we can also offer a framing service if required. A box canvas will need no frame, and can be hung as it is. A painting in watercolour will be produced on archival quality watercolour paper, and dispatched rolled in a cardboard tube should you choose to provide your own framing.
After details have been finalised; medium, size, and style, etc., we then ask for an initial payment of 30% of the agreed price before commencing the initial sketch. The cost will depend on the specification, so please enquire by phone or via the 'contact us' link at the top of the page.
If required, we can also supply a high quality scan of your painting that can be used for prints or cards for your personal, or marketing use.
